Kick-off at Sundvolden: learning and team spirit across Skytale

The entire Skytale team recently gathered for an inspiring, varied kick-off at Sundvolden Hotel. Over two days, we gained professional knowledge, discussed the future and shared experiences as a team.

Combining learning and community

We began with threat modelling, an important area for Skytale, mapping potential security threats and discussing how to strengthen our solutions further.

We then discussed the qualities we want Skytale to have in the future. Every employee could contribute ideas for building a company we are proud of, professionally and culturally.

The programme continued with cryptography training, exploring the fundamental principles and challenges of secure digital communication.

We also reviewed how a limited company works, offering insight into the company’s structure for both new and experienced employees.

There was also time to socialise. Wine tasting provided an enjoyable learning experience and plenty of conversation around the table.

We took a walk in the local area, enjoying fresh air and good conversation in the countryside around Sundvolden.

Finally, we tried something quite different: building a Viking ship. This creative, enjoyable exercise tested our collaboration and problem-solving skills in true Skytale fashion.
