A customer is approved for BEGRENSET
The approval covers the delivered application together with the cloud service provider. The customer's own use must be approved separately.
One of Skytale’s customers has received approval from the Norwegian National Security Authority for communication classified BEGRENSET under the Norwegian Security Act, with Skytale as the technical foundation. The approval covers the delivered application together with the cloud service provider. The customer’s own use must be approved separately, and we guide the customer through that process.
It is worth being precise about what this means. A product does not receive a single blanket approval that allows anyone to use it freely. Approval is linked to the specific delivery and the organisation that will use it. The next organisation must complete its own process.
This is still a milestone for us because the process has now been completed. We know the documentation required, the questions that arise and where time is spent. We bring that experience to the next case.
BEGRENSET is the lowest classification level under the Norwegian Security Act. It is also the level relevant to much of the day-to-day work in Norwegian organisations with security requirements. For many, this is where the actual need lies, rather than at higher levels.
Skytale supports the organisation’s compliance with the Norwegian Security Act.
